About Brooklyn Recycling Group

Working together for a cleaner, more sustainable industrial precinct

The Brooklyn Recycling Group (BRG) is a collaborative of businesses, including the City Circle Group, Delta Group, and ResourceCo, working together to improve environmental outcomes, raise operational standards, and strengthen community engagement across the Brooklyn Industrial Precinct.

Formed in 2024, after several years in the making, the BRG was established through the signing of Victoria’s first Better Environment Plan (BEP) — a formal, voluntary agreement with EPA Victoria designed to drive air quality improvements and advance Victoria’s Circular Economy Strategy.

Our Members include founding businesses operating within the Bunting Road area:

- Sunshine Groupe (Gypsum & Fertilizer, including EcoGypsum)

- Delta Group

- City Circle Group

- ResourceCo

This innovative partnership was the recipient of the Greenstart Award at the 35th Australian Freight Industry Awards in September 2025. Through Victoria’s first Better Environment Plan (BEP), we’re taking bold steps to reduce emissions, improve air quality, and support a cleaner, healthier future. See The Plan for more about this.

Together, our businesses employ hundreds of local workers and manage large volumes of Victoria’s construction and demolition (C&D) waste, diverting materials from landfill and returning recycled products into new infrastructure projects.
